CRIME ALERT – The Hamburg Township Police Department has taken 8 reports today of vehicles which were rummaged through overnight (early morning hours of 02/13/13). Several of the vehicles had items stolen out of them. All the incidents occurred in a subdivision off of M-36 & Hiawatha on the streets of Riverdale Drive, Woodland Ave, Field Ave and Hiawatha Ave (This subdivision is located off of M-36 between Merrill Road and Chilson). All of the incidents had one thing in common, the vehicles were unlocked. Please lock you vehicle doors at night to help prevent future theft.
