School Presentations – Community Outreach
The Menlo Park Police Department extends its community outreach efforts by way of providing presentations to schools (pre-school to high school) in areas of Law, School and Community Safety/Awareness to include but are not limited to:
• Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety
• Calling the Police for Assitance/Use of 911
• Internet Safety/CyberBullying
• Stranger Danger
• Gang Awareness
• Drug Awareness
• Drinking and Driving/Substance Abuse Education
• Police Officer Responsibilities and Duties
• Question and Answer Sessions
School presentations delivered by police department staff are designed to improve young people’s understanding of the work of the police and to teach them important safety messages in a familiar environment. At an early age, we can educate children of the help the police can offer and what they can do to make safe choices and decisions when faced with situations.
For school presentations, please contact the Menlo Park Police Department at (650) 330-6327.
