PC public hrg on 2/5/13 on a proposal which would allow non-hazardous trees to be pruned and removed from non-shoreline ESA area buffers.

Planning Commission is scheduled to meet on February 5, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. in the Wall Street Building 8th floor Hearing Room located at 2930 Wetmore Avenue in Everett. The agenda includes a presentation by Mayor Ray Stephanson; a public hearing and recommendation on Code changes which would allow non-hazardous trees to be pruned and removed from non-shoreline critical area buffers; and, a public workshop on the annual Comprehensive Plan map amendments, text changes, and rezones.

The rezones include:
• CEMEX – amend the Comprehensive Plan and Development Agreement to change the location of the concrete batch plant and changes to standards and park land area.
• Jackson Park – add a one acre area to the Park zoning
• Madison Park – rezone a 2.8 acre area to Park zoning
• Everett Station area – add residential use as an outright use around Everett Station
• Mukilteo School District – adopt the 2010 – 2015 Mukilteo School District Capital Facilities Plan.
