Three Narcotics arrests

On 01-31-2013 Detectives of the San Luis Obispo Special Enforcement Team observed a narcotics transaction taking place in a residential neighborhood. Detectives conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle associated with the transaction as it left the area. The passenger in the vehicle, Salomon Villar was found in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana. The driver of the vehicle, Abad Perez, an unlicensed driver, had his 1 year old and 2 year old children in the vehicle with him when the transaction was made. Villar was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and marijuana and Perez was arrested for child endangerment. The children were turned over to child welfare services.
The San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Narcotics team responded to assist with the investigation. Detectives searched the home at 1321 Woodside where the transaction took place. Approximately 3 ounces of methamphetamine, a small amount of cocaine and approx. $1300 cash was seized from the residence. Cosme Lopez-Moreno was arrested for possession of methamphetamine for sales, possession of cocaine and child endangerment. Lopez-Moreno had his 2 year old daughter with him at the time of the narcotics transaction. Drugs found in the residence were all stored within reach of the child. The child was turned over to relatives but is being evaluated by Child Welfare Services. Additionally, numerous items of stolen property were also recovered.
