Investigators from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, Thermal Station are investigating a missing person's case in the 84-000 block of Bagdad Avenue, in Coachella. On December 10, 2012, Roberto Soto Munoz, Cecila Salinas Soto, and their grandson Armando Salinas Soto left their residence. They were driving a 2003, green, Ford F150, (Ca # 7B85929), with a green camper shell. The family was headed to Zinapecuaro, Michoacan, Mexico to visit family for the holidays.

When the family did not return on January 10, 2013, the family reported them missing. The Riverside County Sheriff's Department is working in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigations, the U.S. Border Patrol, and the U.S. Consulate General's Office in Juarez, Mexico in attempt to locate the family. The family was last seen leaving the family's residence in Mexico on January 3, 2013. At this time, there is no record of the family returning to the U.S.

Roberto Soto Munoz is described as: 53 years old, 5'-07", 220 lbs., gray hair, brown eyes.

Cecilia Salinas Soto is described as: 70 years old, 4'-11", 139 lbs., red hair, and brown eyes.

Armando Salinas Soto, 27-years-old, 5'-07", 140 lbs., brown hair and brown eyes.
