The Angels Camp Police Department would like to remind residents and business owners of some of the services that are available that we provide. The police department has had a “Vacation House Check” program in place for some time, where residents that are on vacation can fill out a “Security Check” request form, for increased patrols of their residences while they are gone. We have recently increased our volunteer staff, and as a result we have the ability to provide more frequent checks of those residences, for the owners that request the security checks. We are in the process of expanding this service to the business community as well, and any business owners that have a concern or issue are encouraged to take advantage of this service. Completed forms will be assigned to a volunteer that will follow-up on conducting these security checks on a more frequent basis.
The associated “Security Check” forms are available on-line, at www.angelscamp.gov, or they can be picked up at the police department lobby during normal business hours.
