Larceny from building occurred this morning in the 100 blk of Kercheval (Hill Business District). Suspect was confronted by the business owner as he was rummaging through her purse. Suspect fled the building on foot out onto Kercheval Avenue. Suspect ran east on the sidewalk and entered the bank drive thru located at 131 Kercheval. Unknown direction from there, possible fled the area in an unknown vehicle. First responding officer was on scene in less than a minute after the crime was reported. Richard School was notified of the incident as it was unfolding and went into a "Lock In" mode as the surrounding area was checked. Suspect was not located.
GPF detective's have observed security video of today’s incident and discovered that today's suspect is a match from last month’s similar incident. GPFDPS is requesting any help in identifying this subject - see photo. Described as: 5-11 / 6'2, blue eyes, cracked teeth, med build.
