Homicide suspects identified. One suspect in custody & one suspect considered armed and dangerous remains outstanding

On January 16, 2013, at 9:29 pm, the Corona Police Department Dispatch Center received numerous 911 calls from the 1100 block of Border Ave in regard to gun shots being fired. Corona police officers responded to the area and found one male subject that was struck by gunfire. The male was transported to a local area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The male was later identified as Daniel Stordahl 20-years-old of Corona and the Riverside County Coroner’s Office listed his cause of death as multiple gunshot wounds. The ongoing investigation has revealed two suspects in the murder of Daniel Stordahl.
Patrick Kohler, 22-years-old of Riverside, has been identified as the driver of the vehicle involved in this case. Kohler is currently in custody at the Robert Presley Detention Center for this murder case, as well as other unrelated cases. The vehicle in this crime has been located.
Matthew Rowley, 22-years-old of Corona, has been identified as the shooter in this case. Rowley is not in custody and is wanted for the murder of Daniel Stordahl. If you have any information on the whereabouts of Matthew Rowley, please contact Corona Police Department Sr. Detective Gail Gottfried at 951-279-3623.
If you see Matthew Rowley, please call 911 and do not approach him or attempt to detain him. Rowley is considered armed and dangerous and weapons in this case are still outstanding.
