False Report of Emergency at Tom Cruise’s Residence

On Thursday, January 17, 2013, at approximately 11:51 a.m., the Beverly Hills Police Department received a 911 call in which the caller reported an armed robbery in progress at a residence in the 1100 block of Calle Vista.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with private security at the residence and conducted a search of the location. It was determined the residence belonged to Actor Tom Cruise, and no emergency was discovered. Neither Mr. Cruise nor his family were home when the emergency was reported.

Beverly Hills Police Department Detectives will be investigating the incident as a crime due to the false report.
