Winter Weather Advisory 
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for portions of North Georgia beginning today at 1pm and expiring Friday at 7AM.
Locations north of a line from Carrollton to Atlanta to Jefferson is forecasted to experience black ice and light snow accumulations up to one inch in elevated areas.
Rain will mix with and begin changing to snow in North West Georgia by early afternoon spreading across the rest of North Georgia through the early evening hours.
Winds are also expected to increase to 20MPH with gusts to 30MPH.
Instructions:
Snow and Ice will create nuisance driving conditions. Black Ice is likely across the area this evening and friday morning when temperatures fall below freezing.
Motorists are reminded to decrease your speed and drive with extreme caution.
