SHERIFF LEE BACA VISITS CRESCENTA VALLEY SHERIFF’S STATION

SHERIFF LEE BACA VISITS CRESCENTA VALLEY SHERIFF’S STATION

On January 8, 2013, Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca visited the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station as part of his commitment to visit with employees to discuss his plans for the future of the Department. Sheriff Baca inspected the Station and met with 45 personnel; including sworn, professional staff, Explorers, Montrose Search and Rescue Team members, and Volunteers.

During his visit, Sheriff Baca thanked personnel for their hard work and dedication to the local communities. He also discussed his vision for the Sheriff’s Department, new policies of the Department, budget matters, and proposed renovations to the Crescenta Valley Station.

Sheriff Baca reminded all personnel that as members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, they are part of the “Greatest Law Enforcement Agency in the United States.” He said this is reflected in each of the more than 18,000 employees, who provide law enforcement services to 42 contract cities, unincorporated communities, 10 community colleges, rail and bus transit services, Los Angeles County Courts, manage the largest county jail system in the free world, and staff a renowned law enforcement regional training center.

Sheriff Baca was very pleased with the on-going work provided by the Crescenta Valley employees and the condition of the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station.
