One Arrested for Marijuana and Hash in Porter Township
The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team announces that after receiving a citizens tip of illegal activity at a residence, Detectives, on Thursday, January 3rd 2013, at approximately 1130 AM, conducted a search of the residence in the 15000 block of US 12, in Porter Township, Cass County Michigan. A search of the property resulted in the seizure of Marijuana and Hash. Melissa Goodman (27) was at the residence when the search was conducted and taken into custody. Michigan DHS Child Protective Services took three children from the residence into protective custody. Melissa Goodman was arraigned in 4th District Court on January 4th 2013 and charged with possession with intent to manufacture hash, possession of marijuana and maintaining a drug house. Goodman is being lodged at the Cass County Jail and being held on a $60,000 bond.
