One injured in Deer Crash 
Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr. reports that his deputies handled a personal injury crash on M 51 just south on Saddlebred Lane on December 26th, 2012 at 6:05 PM in Pokagon Township Cass County Michigan.
The driver identified as, 20 year old Lamya Shareff from Detroit Michigan, was traveling south on M51 when a deer that was hit by a north bound vehicle went through her windshield causing injury to Ms. Shareff. Also in the vehicle was 54 year old Leslie Huffman of Cassopolis. Ms. Shareff was transported to Borgess Lee Memorial for treatment of her injuries.
Pokagon Fir and Dowagiac Ambulance assisted deputies on the scene.
Seat belts were worn at the time of the crash which remains under investigation.
