School Safety Always a Top Priority For Crescenta Valley Deputy Sheriffs

Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station is saddened by the tragedy that occurred in Newtown, CT. Our local school resource deputies are in contact with many of our school administrators daily and work to ensure open lines of communication between our station and all our schools. Crescenta Valley Station patrol deputies have been briefed on today’s events and will continue to be updated by station supervisors. Patrol deputies have been instructed to increase their patrols around schools and surrounding neighborhoods in their respective patrol areas. As your community protectors, we work every moment of every day to ensure your safety and our preparedness to respond to any emergency. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and anyone affected by this horrific event.
