Gun Buyback this Saturday, 12/15 - Oakland residents to receive cash for relinquished guns.

On Saturday, December 15, 2012, Oakland's Youth UpRising, in partnership with the Oakland Police Department, the San Francisco Police Department, and Community Enrichment Organization (CEO)will be hosting a gun buyback program.

This effort is a community based, initiated and funded program toward the overall goal of reducing the number of firearm related crimes in the Bay Area.

Oakland and San Francisco residents who turn in a working gun will receive $200.00 cash per gun and may exchange up to three guns per person. Residents must bring proof of residency (i.e. Driver's License, California Identification Card, utility bill, cell phone bill, mortgage paperwork, etc.). Firearms must be in working condition.

**ALL FIREARMS MUST BE UNLOADED**

Oakland Location: Saint Benedict’s Church, 2245 82nd Avenue
10:00AM to 3:00PM (Oakland residents only)

San Francisco Location: The Omega Boy's Club, 1060 Tennessee Street 10:00AM to 3:00PM (San Francisco residents only)
