HUNTERDON PROSECUTOR REPORTING GUNSHOT VICTIM TAKEN TO MORRISTOWN MEDICAL CENTER
Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III and Tewksbury Township Police Chief Thomas Holmes announced an ongoing investigation involving a discharge of a firearm that occurred late Sunday evening.
Prosecutor Kearns is reporting that his office is confirming that a 16 year old male was transported to Morristown Medical Center with an apparent gunshot wound. Tewksbury Township Police and the Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit are investigating.
According to Prosecutor Kearns, “This is an active investigation. The community is not at risk.”
Responding units included Clinton First Aid & Rescue Squad, Tewksbury First Aid Squad, and Hunterdon Medical Center Paramedics.
