SUSPECT: Eric Lindberg, date of birth 12-26-1978, resident of San Leandro

DETAILS:
On 11/27/2012, San Leandro Police Detectives were in Oakland following up several cases. They located Eric Lindberg at a self-storage facility in Oakland. The Detectives determined that there was a burglary in Oakland that occurred on 11/24/2012. During which approximately $53,000 in tools were stolen from the Hilti Service Center. Over $40,000 worth of stolen Hilti worth tools were recovered.

Lindburg was arrested for possession of stolen property. Two stolen vehicles were also recovered during this investigation. The vehicles had been reported stolen in Oakland and in San Ramon several days prior.

Lt. Randall Brandt stated, “The Hilti representative said he had no confidence that their property would ever get recovered. This was the largest stolen property recovery their business had ever seen.”
