Community Message
Members of the San Leandro Police Department really take pride in our community outreach.
For the 2nd year Dispatchers Tina Prieto and Michelle Ratto-Branchaud generously knitted scarves to donate to Building Futures with Women and Children.
Building Futures with Women and Children is a non-profit organization that is based in San Leandro with programs throughout Alameda County. They provide services to hundreds of women and children annually who are rebuilding their lives free from homelessness and family violence.
Last year San Leandro Police Department hosted a “Giving Tree” for BFWC in our lobby and this year we will be hosting a donation box for unwrapped gifts. To see their Holiday Wish List requests, visit their website at www.bfwc.org.
This is just another example of our organization and our community working together to give back. Any donations would be appreciated.
