RECENT CRIMES IN NEWPORT COAST (Reporting Districts 64. 66, & 68)

Since the first of November, there have been six reported thefts from vehicles and one garage burglary in Newport Coast. In each case, the vehicle was left unlocked and parked on the street or in the victim’s driveway.

The Newport Beach Police Department would like to remind you to always remove valuables from your vehicle or hide them prior to arriving at your destination. Also, remember to always close your car windows, lock the doors, and activate the car alarm.

Don’t give thieves the gift of opportunity this holiday season!
