(Oklahoma City) November 17, 2012 an Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office deputy conducted a traffic stop on Highway 74 near N.W. 150th Street. The driver of the vehicle, Carlecas Blackwell (d.o.b. 07/27/1969), was found to be driving with a revoked license.

The deputy was taking inventory of Blackwell's vehicle while impounding the car when he found a duffle bag in the trunk of the car. Inside the duffle bag the deputy located 19 bundles containing 22 pounds of marijuana. Also recovered from inside the vehicle was a loaded Glock-35 pistol, and prescription medication.

Blackwell was taken into custody on complaints of:

*Possession of a weapon while committing a felony
*Possession of drugs with intent to distribute
*Possession of drugs without a valid prescription
*Driving with a revoked license
*Failure to maintain insurance

"There is no such thing as a routine traffic stop", said Oklahoma County Sheriff John Whetsel. "This deputy did an incredible job and got a felon off the streets."

Blackwell posted his $13,500.00 bail and was released from jail on November 18, 2012.
