East Brunswick Independent Fire Company to host boot drive and donation drive on November 18th.
The East Brunswick Independent Fire Company is holding a special
event to help raise funds for area residents affected by Hurricane
Sandy. On Sunday, Nov. 18, the East Brunswick Independent Fire
Company will be hosting a “boot drive” to collect monetary donations
and a non-perishable food collection on Sunday, November 18th
at two (2) different locations in East Brunswick. (1) Willow Street
Firehouse located at 216 Joseph St. will be collecting non-perishable
food from 9am – 3pm on Sunday, 11/18/12. They will be hosting a
“boot drive” at Cranbury Road & Old Bridge Turnpike from 9am
– 1pm. (2) Dunhams Corner Firehouse located at 180 Dunhams
Corner Rd. will be collecting non-perishable food from 9am – 3pm.
They will be hosting a “boot drive” at Dunhams Corner Road and
Ryders Lane from 9am – 1pm.
Items that are being collected: Ready-to-Eat Non-Perishable
Food Items (No-cook food items: canned tuna, cereal & granola
bars, etc.); Personal Care Items (Unused Shampoo, Deodorant,
Soap, etc.); Clean Blankets; Clean Coats; Baby Items (Diapers,
Wipes, Liquid Formula)
