Press Release-East Brunswick Police Units respond to Harry's Gold, 700 Hy18 for an Armed Robbery.

On Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at approximately 3:44pm East Brunswick Police Units responded to Harry’s Gold, 700 Hy 18, for an Armed Robbery. Two males had entered the Route 18 gold store after the store was empty of all customers. One of the males brandished a black handgun while the second male attempted to enter a locked office. The owner of the store, who had been the only one working, produced his handgun, which he has a legal permit to carry. Upon seeing the owner’s handgun, both suspects then fled the store without any proceeds and ran North on Hy 18. Numerous police units from East Brunswick and South River searched for the suspects but were unsuccessful.

Both suspects had disguised themselves by wearing black masks over their faces. One male was wearing a light grey hoody and the other male was wearing a black hoody.
