Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a male adult that was discovered on Monday, November 5, 2012.
Lakewood Sheriff's Station deputies responded to an Assault With A Deadly Weapon call in the 8600 block of Rosecrans Avenue, Paramount. For unknown reasons, two brothers who reside at the location, engaged in a physical altercation. The suspect produced a knife and stabbed his 35-year old brother.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Suspect Daveonate Pruitt, MB/22, was arrested at the location, and booked at Lakewood Sheriff's Station for Murder. He is being held in lieu of $1,000,000.00 bail.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
