(Oklahoma City) November 2, 2012 around 9:20am an Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office deputy was in Arcadia, Oklahoma on Route 66 when he ran the license plate of a vehicle that was stolen out of Oklahoma City. "The deputy attempted to stop the vehicle, but the suspect driver took off at a high rate of speed", said Oklahoma County Sheriff John Whetsel. The vehicle pursuit lasted several minutes with the suspect driving at speeds over 120mph.

The vehicle pursuit ended in a field after the suspect vehicle crashed through a couple of fences just east of Midwest Boulevard on Redbud Lane. "The passenger of the vehicle was taken into custody immediately by an OCSO K-9 deputy. The passenger received some minor injuries due to the K-9 biting him in the head" said Whetsel.

The passenger has been identified as Kenneth Dale Watson (d.o.b. 11/21/1979). Watson was taken to a metro hospital to be treated for dog bite his wounds. Watson will face complaints of possession of a stolen vehicle, and resisting arrest. Deputies also determined that Watson has outstanding warrants in another county.

Deputies determined that a person of interest from the pursuit is a Joshua J. Walton (d.o.b. 09/19/1989). Walton currently has Oklahoma County warrants for violation of a suspended sentence and indecent lewd acts with a child. Walton also has outstanding warrants in Logan County. Anyone with information regarding Walton's whereabouts is asked to call the OCSO at (405) 869-2501.
