A Food, Water and Ice distribution center has been set up at Monmouth Park in the lot off Oceanport Avenue. Residents in need will receive 2 bags of ice and 2 cases of water. Food will be provided in the form of military MRE's (Meals Ready to Eat). A charging station will be there for cell phones, PDA's, lap tops, etc.
A little over half of West Long Branch has had power restored. The exact time table for complete restoration is unknown. Crews are working on it.
Schools in West Long Branch are closed until November 12.
