LOCATION: 1600 block of Hays St., San Leandro

INVESTIGATING DETECTIVE(S): Detective Sergeant Henderson

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION:

Suspect #1, black male, 20-25 years old, approximately 5’10” tall, large build, wearing a mask and hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. He was armed with a handgun.

Suspect #2, black male, 20-25 years old, approximately 5’10” tall, thin build, wearing a mask and dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. He was armed with a handgun.


DETAILS:

On 10-22-12, approximately 8:30 PM, officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Hays St., for the report of an armed robbery. The female victim stated she was approached by two suspects and they robbed her at gunpoint after she parked her vehicle. The victim was afraid and gave the suspects her money.

The suspects fled with the money on foot in an unknown direction. No additional leads have been developed and detectives are actively investigating this incident.

Lt. Randall Brandt said, “It is very important for citizens to be aware of their surroundings and report suspicious activity. The suspects in this incident may have been in the area prior to committing the robbery. If citizens witness suspicious activity they need to report their observations to us immediately.”
