DETAILS:

Suspect Description: Suspect#1: Black male, late 20’s, 5’08” tall, medium build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, armed with a silver handgun.

Suspect#2: Black male, late 20’s, short, heavy set, wearing a gray hooded jacket and dark pants.

Suspect #3: Black male, 6’00” tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

Suspect Vehicle: light colored 4-door sedan.

On 10-19-12 approximately 9:55 PM, officers responded to Walmart, 15555 Hesperian Blvd, regarding a robbery that just occurred. SLPD dispatch advised responding units that the suspects had fled the store in an unknown direction.

When officers arrived on scene they learned that the three above listed suspects entered the store and went to the customer service area. Suspect#1 approached the employee working in the return center, grabbed her by the arm and pointed a gun at her. All three suspects then went behind the counter and forcibly opened several cash registers and fled with the cash drawers out of the store. The suspects got into a light colored 4-door sedan and left out of the south parking lot area. The store employee was not physically injured during the robbery. The loss was an unknown amount of cash.

Lt. Tudor said, “This was a robbery that occurred when the store was extremely busy. We are asking for any witness to come forward to assist us in this investigation. It is very fortunate that nobody was hurt during this violent and bold robbery”.
