HOLLISTER, CALIFORNIA – October 16, 2012, – The body located at the Cerra Vista home of David Quiroz has been officially identified as that of Missing person Heather Alaina Carroll (25) of Hollister. The preliminary cause of death for Carroll has been determined to be a combination of blunt force trauma and strangulation.
On October 15, 2012, members of the Hollister Police Department Investigation team, San Benito Sheriff Detectives and San Benito County DA Investigators attended the autopsy for Heather Alaina Carroll (25).
Forensic Pathologist Doctor John Hain M.D. conducted the autopsy at the Monterey County Coroner’s Office in Salinas, CA. Dr. Hain’s final official cause of death is pending a routine toxicology blood examination.
David Quiroz is scheduled to be arraigned today as the San Benito County Superior Court on charges involved with her murder.
