Oakland Police Safely Arrest Two Suspects, Recover Three Firearms, 99th Ave at International, October 8th 
Two suspects are in custody, one for a parole violation, arrested upon probable cause for firearms possession.
Officers responded to the area of 99th Ave and International Blvd at about 1am this morning to investigate a report of suspects in the area armed with firearms.
Upon their arrival to investigate, the OPD patrol unit observed one suspect flee on foot. This suspect escaped apprehension, but two other suspects were safely detained. Three firearms were safely recovered. All of the firearms were fully loaded. Both detained suspects were arrested.
