ISP Arrest 346 Impaired Drivers
Indiana State Police Arrest 346 Impaired Drivers during Statewide Enforcement Campaign
Friday and Saturday night, September 14th and 15th, between 7:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m., Indiana State Police conducted a statewide enforcement campaign targeting impaired and dangerous drivers. Troopers throughout the state arrested 346 impaired drivers, issued 4,105 traffic tickets, 6,646 written warnings and made 360 arrests for various criminal offenses.
Evansville District Enforcement Activity
Troopers at the Evansville Post arrested 16 impaired drivers during the two-day campaign. Troopers also issued 205 traffic tickets, 435 warnings and made 40 arrests for various criminal offenses. The Evansville Post is responsible for patrolling Vanderburgh, Posey, Warrick, Pike, Gibson and Knox Counties.
