Homicides – Between 9/2-9/8, there was one gang-related homicide. In 2012 YTD, there have been 21 homicides. In 2011 YTD, there were 18 homicides.
• 9/5, 1814 hrs; 1300 block of N. Willowbrook Av. Gang-Related.
Rape – Between 9/2-9/8, there was one reported rape incident. In 2012 YTD, there have been 24 reported rapes. In 2011 YTD, there were 41 reported rapes.

Robberies – Between 9/2-9/8, there were 6 reported robberies. There were two armed robberies & four strong-arm robberies. All of the strong-arm robberies were chain snatches. In 2012 YTD, total robberies are up approx. 2% from 2011.

Aggravated Assaults – Between 9/2-9/8, there were 15 reported incidents of aggravated assault. Those incidents include four incidents of domestic violence. During this period, there were seven ADW-Gun incidents (4 gang-related shooting). In 2012 YTD, aggravated assaults are down approx. 4% from 2011.
Residential Burglary – Between 9/2-9/8, there were 6 reported residential burglaries. In District I, there were two reported incidents during this period. In 2012 YTD, residential burglaries are down approx. 26% from 2011.
Comm/Other Structure Burglary – Between 9/2-9/8, there were four reported comm/other structure burglaries. In 2012 YTD, there have been 117 reported incidents; down approx. 23% from 2011.
• 9/8, 1218 hrs; 2700 Block of E Alondra Bl.
Suspects: S1/MB/503/120/wearing a gry t-shirt, gry shorts entered the location walked up to the register, opened the register and took a $50 bill, then exited the location. Suspect fled and entered the front passenger seat of a sil newer model Ford sedan. S2/driver is a poss female.
Grand Theft Auto – Between 9/2-9/8, there were 22 reported stolen vehicles. Most of the reported stolen vehicles occurred were from the eastern station area (District II, District IV, ERD) during this time period. The most frequent reported stolen vehicles during this time period were 90’s model Hondas. In 2012 YTD, GTAs are down approx. 8% from 2011.
Vehicle Burglary – Between 9/2-9/8, there were 8 reported vehicle burglaries. Three of reported incidents occurred in District I during this time period. 75% of incidents occurred b/t 2200-0300 hrs. In 2012 YTD, there have been 221 reported incidents; down approx. 38% from 2011.
