Sheriff’s Office Activity

-3100 blk Canada Rd: Burglary of Vehicle. A complainant advised unknown person(s) entered a vehicle and committed a theft of property. A report was completed and the investigation is ongoing.

-1300 blk Avenue H: Warrant Service. A deputy arrested a male subject for a felony warrant for Burglary of Habitation and released him into the custody of jail personnel.

-800 blk Houston, Levelland: Warrant Service. A male subject was placed under arrest for a warrant for Consumption of Alcohol by Minor, Enhanced and transported to the Hockley County Jail.

-Quebec Rd at Santa Fe Rd, Pep: Illegal Dumping. A deputy responded to the area in reference to large quantities of concrete dumped along the roadway. A report was completed and the incident is under investigation.

-FM 2646 at Hwy 114: Motorist Assist.

-Barton Ln at Hwy 114, Opdyke: Traffic Complaint.

-Grant St at 4th St, Smyer: Open Door. Deputies conducting business checks located an unsecured door. The building was cleared and secured. No signs of forced entry or offenses.

-100 blk Ellwood, Anton: Open Door. Deputies conducting business checks located an unsecured door. The building was cleared and secured. No signs of forced entry or offenses.

Deputies conducted close patrols at area businesses and residences, traffic enforcement and criminal interdiction activities.
