The Dearborn Police Department wants to alert all residents to be especially vigilant on Tuesday, September 11th, 2012, as our country commemorates the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attack. Special attention should be given to all schools, shopping centers, Mosques, community centers, The Warren Avenue business district, The Michigan Avenue business district, and other notable social gathering places. Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad wanted to emphasize that there are “no specific threats that have been made to our city and that this is only a precautionary message.” If any citizen observes any suspicious activity they are asked to contact the police at 943-3030.
