Sheriff’s Office Activity

-100 blk Cleveland, Smyer: Possession Drug Paraphernalia. A deputy issued a citation to a male subject and confiscated drug paraphernalia after a complainant called in the activity.

-Hwy 114 at Hummingbird Rd: Motorist Assist.

-US Hwy 84 at FM 2130, Anton: Disabled Vehicle.

-Hwy 114 at Hummingbird Rd: Disabled Vehicle.

-800 blk FM 1490: Civil Complaint.

-600 blk 2nd St, Smyer: Criminal Mischief. A resident reported minor damage to a fence on his property. The complainant did not wish to file a report in the matter.

-100 blk Avenue S: Criminal Mischief. A deputy completed a report related to property damage at an area residence.

-3100 blk North Hwy 385: Loose Livestock.

-800 blk FM 1490: Civil Complaint.

-2000 blk East Ellis: Shots Fired, hunters.

-900 bk North Hwy 385: Loose Livestock.

-3600 blk Jamaica Rd, Petit: Suspicious Activity. A resident reported a male subject walking near his residence. Deputies searched the area and did not locate anyone in or around the area.

-Hwy 114 at Quail Rd: Disabled Vehicle.

-North Hwy 385 at Tennessee Rd: Traffic Complaint/Possible Intoxicated Driver. Deputies were dispatched to attempt to locate a reckless driver traveling southbound on Hwy 385. The vehicle was located and a deputy initiated a motor vehicle contact. It was determined there were no signs of intoxication and the driver was released.

-Hwy 114 at FM 2378: Traffic Complaint.

-FM 2378 at Deer Rd: Shots Fired.

-3200 blk South FM 2646: Stolen Livestock. A deputy completed a report after a complainant reported livestock was taken from his property.

-6800 blk Hwy 114: Criminal Trespass. Deputies responded to a complaint of trespassing at an area residence. The complainant stated a neighbor had been on the property and created a disturbance. A male subject was issued a trespass warning at the request of the complainant.

-200 blk South FM 168, Smyer: Loose Livestock.

-500 blk Travis: Domestic Disturbance. Deputies responded to a reported disturbance at an area residence. A report was completed related to the incident.

-100 blk Avenue Y: Runaway. Deputies responded to a reported runaway juvenile at a residence. While taking information for the report the juvenile returned to the residence.

-100 blk College, Levelland: Assist Levelland PD, alarm.

Deputies also conducted close patrols at area businesses and residences, traffic enforcement and criminal interdiction activities.
