Incident Commander for Little Horsethief Fire is advising all Game Creek residents to prepare for potential evacuation. There are no structures threatened in the Game Creek area at this time.
Residents should gather irreplaceable belongings such as photographs, insurance policies, medications, and their 72 hour emergency kits and place them in their vehicles to be ready to evacuate at a moment's notice.
Residents with livestock and pets should make preparations now to move animals should the fire cross into Game Creek.
An information center has been established at Jackson Hole High School for the public and will be open until 2200 (10pm) 9/8/12. Public can also find information at http://inciweb.org/incident/3241/.
