Mosquito Spraying at Topsfield Schools
Truck mounted and targeted barrier spraying by Northeast Massachusetts Mosquito Control is scheduled for Proctor School, 60 Main Street, and Steward School, 261 Perkins Row, late in the evening on Friday, September 7, 2012. This is in response to recent positive findings of EEE and WNV in mosquitoes trapped in Topsfield.
This notice, dated September 5, 2012, serves as the required forty eight hour notification that spraying will be conducted, weather-permitting, on Friday night, September 7, 2012. In the event of inclement weather in the evening of September 7, spraying will be conducted on the next fair weather night following that date. There are no restrictions regarding the use of any areas of the grounds of either school following the spraying.
