SUSPECT(S): Raymond Eusebio, date of birth 08-31-1988, San Leandro resident
DETAILS:
On 09-01-12, approximately 2:20 AM there was an attempted murder in the 100 block of Stoakes Avenue. There was a press release covering that incident and investigators were assigned to the case.
Members of the San Leandro Police Department’s Tactical Unit (pro-active street crimes unit designed to address criminal activity) and Investigators followed up leads in this incident. Raymond Eusebio was identified as the suspect. Tactical Unit members and Investigators worked tirelessly throughout the night on the case.
On 09-02-12, approximately 7:45 PM, Eusebio turned himself into the San Leandro Police Department and he was booked. While their initial efforts to find Eusebio were not successful, it was evident Eusebio turned himself in at our police department based on their investigative efforts.
On 09-05-12, Eusebio was charged with assault with a deadly weapon by the Alameda County District Attorney’s office.
Lt. Randall Brandt said, “This was a tragic incident and our staff would not rest until Eusebio was taken into custody.”
