The Absecon Police Department is investigating a commercial burglary that was discovered at Hair & Nail Creations-453 White Horse Pike on September 4, 2012 at 09:44 am. The business owner returned to reopen after the holiday weekend to find the establishment had been burglarized. Between Saturday September 1, 2012 at 2:30 pm and today, unknown subject(s) gained entry into the business by using a prying tool to open the front door. Once inside, the actor(s) removed a cash register that contained approximately $30.00 in cash, which was located behind the front counter, and left the area. Personnel from the Absecon Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division responded on scene to process the area and collected evidence. Police are utilizing local business surveillance footage to gather more information in regard to the burglary.
