Santa Cruz Police Department advises you to AVOID Laurel Street between Center Street and Pacific Avenue due to wires down. Power is out in immediate area. PG&E enroute to restore power to area. Santa Cruz Fire personnel are working on the incident.
Laurel Street is closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic from Center Street to Laurel Street. In addition, power is out for multiple areas including the west side of Pacific Avenue from Sycamore Street to Walnut Avenue. As soon as PG&E can update the status, we will send out another Nixle alert.
