Sexual Assault, 5400 block of Gaston Avenue 
On August 31, 2012 at approximately 10:00am a suspect knocked on the front door of the complainant’s residence in the 5400 block of Gaston Avenue. The suspect asked the complainant a question, then produced a handgun and forced the complainant back into her residence. The suspect sexually assaulted the complainant.
After the assault the suspect took property from the residence and fled in an unknown direction.
Officers arrived on the scene and performed a ground and air (Air One) search for the suspect, with negative results.
The suspect was described as a Latin male, around 50 years of age, 5’9”, 215 lbs, brown eyes, last seen wearing red plaid shirt, grey pants, and a grey hat.
No other recent offenses with similar MO have been identified.
