Sheriff’s Office Activity for 8/30/2012

-500 blk Tim: Animal Complaint.

-2300 blk FM 2646: Animal Complaint.

-US Hwy 62/82 at Tiger Rd, Ropesville: Drug Paraphernalia. A deputy conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area after observing traffic violations. During the contact the deputy observed indicators of other criminal activity. The deputy was given consent to search the vehicle and a digital scale that contained residue of methamphetamine was recovered. The evidence was confiscated and a citation was issued for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The driver was released from the scene.

-300 blk Badger, Whitharral: Suspicious Activity. Deputies met with a residence in reference to a suspicious person in her yard. The resident stated the identity of the person was known and requested a close patrol of the area at night.

-Hwy 385 at Caribou Rd: Motorist Assist.

-US Hwy 62/82 at Quail Rd: Motorist Assist.

Deputies also conducted close patrols at area businesses and residences, traffic enforcement and criminal interdiction activities.
