The City of New Port RIchey is under a Tropical Storm Watch. Expect flooding in flood prone areas with rainfall in the sum of 4-7 inches and tidal surge of 3-5 ft above normal high tide.
For City residents, Sand bags and Sand will be available at 6420 Pine Hill Road on Sunday, August 26, 2012 from 8AM-3PM. Must show ID to prove that you are a City of New Port Richey resident. 20 bags Per household will be given. Please make sure to bring your own shovel.
For Non-City residents sand bags and sands will be available from Pasco County. Please contact Pasco County Utilities at 727-847-2411 for locations and times.
Pasco County is under a voluntary evacution. The Mike Fasano building at 11611 Denton Ave which is Special Needs Shelter is now open. You can also contact Pasco County at 727-847-2411 for any questions for shelter needs, locations, and times.
