-6700 blk Filly Rd: Assist Other Agency, animal complaint.

-1300 blk Avenue H: Warrant Service. A deputy arrested a male subject for a warrant for Cruelty to Non-Livestock Animal. The male was released into the custody of jail personnel.

-4100 blk Us Hwy 62/82, Ropesville: Driving While Intoxicated (Felony). A deputy was dispatched to attempt to locate a reckless driver. After locating the vehicle and observing traffic violations the deputy initiated a motor vehicle contact. The deputy smelled odors of alcoholic beverages coming from the driver’s breath and the driver admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages. Following an investigation the driver was arrested for the offense of Driving While Intoxicated. The driver had multiple prior convictions which enhanced the offense to a felony. A blood specimen was collected at the hospital and the subject was released into the custody of Hockley County Jail personnel.

-100 blk Avenue N, Levelland: Evading Arrest/Detention with Motor Vehicle: A deputy observed traffic violations and initiated a motor vehicle stop. The driver of the vehicle evaded arrest/detention using the vehicle and later fled on foot. One passenger was detained and later released. Evidence was collected from the scene and the investigation is ongoing.

Deputies also served civil process, conducted close patrols at area businesses and residences, traffic enforcement and criminal interdiction activities.
