Rape – Between 8/5-8/11, there were no reported rapes. In 2012 YTD, there have been 20 reported rapes. In 2011 YTD, there were 39 reported rapes.

Robberies – Between 8/5-8/11, there were 6 reported robberies. There were two armed robberies & four strong-arm robberies. In RD 2835, there were two strong-arm robberies that occurred b/t the 300-700 block of W Compton Bl. In 2012 YTD, total robberies are up approx. 2.5% from 2011.

Aggravated Assaults – Between 8/5-8/11, there were 9 reported incidents of aggravated assault. Those incidents include one incident of domestic violence. During this period, there were 5 gang-related ADW-Gun incidents. In 2012 YTD, aggravated assaults are down approx. 11% from 2011.

Residential Burglary – Between 8/5-8/11, there were 5 reported residential burglaries. In RD 2851, there were 2 reported incidents during this period. In 2012 YTD, residential burglaries are down approx. 25% from 2011.

Comm/Other Structure Burglary – Between 8/5-8/11, there were two reported comm/other structure burglaries. In RD 2844, there were two commercial burglaries in the EM hrs (1300 block S. Long Beach Bl & 1300 block E. Alondra Bl). In 2012 YTD, there have been 100 reported incidents; down approx. 27% from 2011.

Grand Theft Auto – Between 8/5-8/11, there were 12 reported stolen vehicles. In District III, 5 vehicles were reported stolen during this time period (3 in RD 2831 & 2 in RD 2834). In 2012 YTD, GTAs are down approx. 6% from 2011.

Vehicle Burglary – Between 8/5-8/11, there were 5 reported vehicle burglaries. In District II, there were three reported incidents (2 incidents occurred in RD 2824). In 2012 YTD, there have been 169 reported incidents; down approx. 36% from 2011.
