-FM 301 at Mineral Rd, Sundown: Criminal Mischief/Theft. A deputy met with workers who advised that unknown individuals damaged a trailer and stole several small items.

-FM 300 at Evening Tower Rd: Criminal Mischief. A deputy completed a report after a caller stated unknown individuals damaged a trailer at a work site.

-Avenue Q at 13th St: Shots Fired.

-FM 1585 at Hwy 385: Traffic Complaint.

-FM 1585 at FM 303, Sundown: Driving While Intoxicated. Deputies were in the area attempting to locate a vehicle related to a reckless driving complaint and located a vehicle that matched the description provided. After observing several traffic violations, including driving in the incorrect traffic lane, a motor vehicle stop was initiated. On contact with the driver, the deputy smelled odors of alcoholic beverages coming from the driver’s breath and observed an open container in the vehicle. Following a roadside investigation the driver was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Hockley County Jail. After he voluntarily provided a breath specimen at the jail, he was released to jail personnel and booked on the charge of Driving While Intoxicated w/BAC>.150.

-North FM 303 at Lamb County line: Dispatched to attempt to locate a fire. The fire was located in Lamb County.

Deputies also conducted close patrols at area businesses and residences, traffic enforcement, and criminal interdiction activities.
