*****Street Closure – August 18, 2012 – Downtown - Main Street – Forest City, NC ****
The 21st Annual Hot Nights Cool Rides car show will be taking place in Downtown Forest City, NC. Main Street will be closed from S. Broadway Street to Church Street for through traffic from 9:00 am until 11:00 pm. Event participants will be allowed enter the blocked off area for event participation.
Those traveling through Forest City in the Downtown area should anticipate moderate to heavy traffic congestion during the event hours. Drivers should use caution for the considerable amount of foot traffic walking on sidewalks and crossing roadways.
