SUSPECT(S): Amy Rose Ramos, date of birth 06/02/91, resident of San Leandro
DETAILS:
On 04-27-12, at 12:17 PM, an 81 year old female victim was pushed to the ground and robbed. The female suspect robbed the victim of her purse and fled. The victim had serious injuries from the fall.
Detectives identified the suspect and determined there was probable cause to arrest her. The Detectives were not initially successful in locating the suspect.
On 08-16-12, 11:30 AM, Amy Ramos Surrendered to the police at the San Leandro Police Department. .
Lieutenant Randall Brandt said, "This brings some closure to an incident that really impacted our community. Without good witnesses that were willing to come forward, this case would have been difficult to solve."
