The City of Seal Beach Hosts Neighborhood meeting TONIGHT!
On behalf of the City of Seal Beach and City Manager Jill Ingram, Police Chief Keith Kilmer invites you to attend a neighborhood meeting Thursday to discuss quality of life issues in College Park East. We will also be discussing the new Neighbor 4 Neighbor (N4N) crime prevention and emergency preparedness program. Members of all citywide departments will be available to provide resource information. These departments include the Seal Beach Lifeguards, Orange County Fire Authority, Public Works, Finance, Community Services and Recreation.
When: Thursday, August 16, 2012
Time: Meet and Greet from 6:00pm - 7:00pm. Meeting begins at 7:00pm
Where: Seal Beach Tennis Center (3900 Lampson Avenue)
Why: Discuss College Park East quality of life issues
Who: All are invited but the focus will be College Park East
*** Entrance off of Basswood will be OPEN. Please walk or ride your bike if possible as parking may be limited ***
What we will be discussing:
• Reviewing the most recent crime trends in the CPE and Seal Beach
• What we can do TOGETHER to prevent crime from occurring
• When to call the police
• Discussing YOUR involvement in Neighbor 4 Neighbor
• Signing up for NIXLE – your way of instant communication with the police department.
• Programs available to the community from all City Departments
