Sheriff's Office Activity for 8/13/12. 
-100 blk Mason Rd: Fraud.
-800 blk Veretto Rd: Civil Issue, child custody.
-East Hwy 114 at Jack Rd: Abandoned Vehicle.
-300 blk Duggan, Anton: Fire.
-200 blk Lincoln St, Smyer: Domestic Disturbance. Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the area in reference to a possible armed subject. On arrival deputies observed a male and a female engaged in a physical altercation in the front of residence. Both subjects were placed under arrest for Assault and were transported to the Hockley County Jail after being evaluated by medical staff at the ER.
Deputies also served civil process, conducted close patrols at area businesses and residences, traffic enforcement and criminal interdiction activities.
