Local businesses should be aware of counterfeit money being passed. See email
The Dearborn Police Department advises all local business owners to be vigilant during cash transactions and check for any possible counterfeit currency. On Friday August 10, 2012, two local businesses were targeted by a group of individuals passing counterfeit twenty dollar bills. The group would enter the establishment and would purchase items or ask for change. Brief descriptions of the individuals are listed below:
Subject 1: B/M, 18-20 yrs old wearing a purple T-shirt, gray pants
Subject 2: B/F, 18-20 yrs old wearing a white shirt and black pants
Subject 3: B/M, 18-20 yrs old, 5’6”, 150lbs wearing a blue shirt with “Free my Friends” on the front and blue jeans
Subject 4: B/M, 18-20 yrs old wearing a white shirt and black pants
